Aimee bayles

is a singer songwriter based in New York City.  Originally from Virginia, her sound has roots in folk, church, and jazz music. (OR some other sentence about my sound) (maybe a part about beginnings in church & choral music and intro to classic rock in college??) She regularly plays at various venues in New York City, including Rockwood Music Hall, Pete’s Candy Store, and The Living Room, and has collaborated with musicians such as Nat Osborn, Stu Mahan, Seth Johnson, Jerome Jennings, and Reuben Cainer (maybe this is silly to put in, or superfluous) Her influences include Patty Griffin, Gillian Welch, Neil Young, Norah Jones, and Alison Krauss. The upcoming album Enough is a collaboration between Aimee & band members including Nat Osborn, Stu Mahan, and Seth Johnson. (Talk about songs being about community, life, love, and loss...?)
(Goals for the release?)
