About

AIMEE BAYLES is a New York City–based singer, songwriter, and recording artist whose soulful, voice-driven sound blends the spirit of southern church music, classical training, and folk guitar learned from her pastor father in Virginia. Influenced by artists like Patty Griffin, Gillian Welch, Neil Young, Norah Jones, Dolly Parton, and Alison Krauss, her music spans the intimate and the expansive.

Her 2019 release, ENOUGH, traces the lines between her rural roots and city life, while her 2022 EP Flowers For Love And Loss offers a moving reflection on the passing of both parents. She has also released several Christmas singles, including a collaboration with NYC folk artist Matt Sucich, an original collaboration with guitarist Seth Johnson, alongside her own original, “Tropical Christmas.” She performs regularly at venues in New York City, and is currently developing a new project with Canadian musicians Tristan Clark and Rob Ritchie.

Flowers was produced by Kiyoshi Matsuyama, engineered, mixed and mastered by Danielle Warman of ‘Chiller Sound (Bruce Springsteen, Phish), and features Lily Cato of Parlour Tricks. Enough was recorded at Rustic Studios in Portland Maine and 'Chiller Sound in New York, mixed by Danielle Warman, and mastered by Grammy Award-winner Joe LaPorta, Sterling Sound (David Bowie).
